december mini sessions

so, i’m coming home for a second in december.. i’m so excited to eat at luigis see everyone i love!

it’s the only chance i have this year, so i wanted to offer some mini sessions while i’m in midland. 30 minutes per family. only 10 spots available. i promise there will be lots of vintage-y goodness happening at this quick little session. also, lots of hot chocolate:) it’s happening the weekend after christmas, so it makes a great christmas gift for family members in town! gift certificates are available and will come wrapped, ready for christmas.

email me with any questions or to book! xo.

a little update..

so, i’m thinking november is the last time i actually posted a session on this blog. christmas was busy, then i left for africa the day after christmas and was there for two weeks. if you haven’t seen my new blog yet, please go check it out to see some photos and hear some stories about some precious kids and friends i met there.

i have some big news.. i’m moving there in may. to africa. rwanda to be exact.. i wrote a post on the other blog about it, but in short- God opened lots of doors and gave me an amazing opportunity to work with noel orphanage in gisenyi, rwanda- and i’ll be there for a year. it’s home to about 600 (yes, six hundred!) precious kids that i am so excited to be able to hang out with and love on. excited doesn’t even begin to describe what i’m feeling- and i’m so ready to be there!

i am trying to book photo sessions like crazy so i can raise some money to live off of while i’m there, so if you’ve been wanting to book a session- please contact me today and we can set it up!

my last day to take sessions will be sunday, april 22nd.

i am so grateful to have had the opportunity to photograph so many sweet families the past few years, and i will miss this so much! luckily i’ll have tons of kids that ADORE having their photo made in africa:)

cousins: part 2

let me just start out by saying that these cute kids grandma contacted me and wanted photos of all of her grandkids.. when we were brainstorming for ideas, she asked if it would be too much to set up a little tea party for the girls. i responded with telling her that was right up my alley- i wish every session included a cute little tea party! putting a little imagination and detail into shoots is something i absolutely adore.. i also loved watching these two act like little princesses at their tea party:)
